Are these toys?

Reborns are not designed for young children. They are collectible items that need careful handling.

What kits do you use?

All our dolls are genuine kits purchased from UK suppliers and come with a certificate of authenticity. As members of the Reborn Artistry Alliance we do not support the buying or selling of fake kits in any way.

Where are you based?

We are based in the UK, and all our reborn dolls are hand painted and assembled here in our UK studio.

What's inside the doll?

Fine glass beads or steel weights are typically used to give the realistic weight, and virgin fibre fill is also used as a soft wadding.

Do you hand root the hair?

Hair is sometimes hand rooted using high quality fine mohair, but often hand painted or drawn.

Do you take custom orders?

At the moment we are not making bespoke dolls - but keep checking back as this may change.

What's in the box opening?

It varies from doll to doll, and the eBay listing will tell you. Typically you get a magnetic dummy, a nappy, a blanket, a change of outfit, a birth certificate and a care sheet. We know how much baby's arrival means to you, so to really appreciate how much attention we give to the box opening please check our feedback on eBay.

What are your sales, shipping and returns policies?

All the sales are currently through eBay and each listing will provide the details.

What care does a reborn require?

The included care sheet will explain this, but basic requirements include the following:

Handle the reborn like a real baby including supporting the head.

Keep the doll away from extreme heat and cold, and strong sunlight.

Don't use chemicals to clean the baby. Just wiping gently with warm soapy water is enough.

Occasional changing of the baby's outfit should be done carefully without forcing the limbs.

Excessive touching can affect the paint finishes over time so clean dry hands are essential to minimise this.

The magnet and fine glass beads inside reborns can be dangerous if exposed, so are not suitable for young children or people with pacemakers.
